Privacy Policy

PinCalc is designed to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what we collect and what we don't. If you have questions, contact us at support@stakyo.com.

1. Data we do not collect

PinCalc has no backend, no accounts, and no registration. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number, and the content you create in the app is never sent to our servers. PinCalc does not use HealthKit and does not access any health data.

2. Data stored on your device

Everything you enter in PinCalc, along with your app settings, is stored locally on your device using Apple's storage APIs. Stakyo, LLC does not have access to this data.

3. Third-party services

Adapty (subscription management)

Adapty provides infrastructure for managing your paid subscription. When the app checks your subscription status, Adapty receives: an anonymous customer identifier generated on your device, your Apple IDFV (Identifier for Vendor), your purchase state (active or expired), your country and language, the app version and iOS version, and your device model. PostHog (product analytics)

PinCalc uses PostHog to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. PostHog receives anonymous usage events (for example, which screens are opened and which features are used) together with technical information such as an anonymous device identifier, app version, iOS version, device model, and country and language. These events are not linked to your identity, and PostHog does not receive the content you create in the app. See PostHog's privacy policy at https://posthog.com/privacy

Apple App Store (payments)

Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store and all payments are processed by Apple. Stakyo, LLC never receives your credit card details or payment information. To manage your subscription, use the App Store settings on your device.

4. App Tracking Transparency

PinCalc does not track you across other apps and websites. We do not use the Apple IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) and do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

5. Children

PinCalc is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because PinCalc has no accounts and does not store your content on our servers, the data you create lives only on your device. To delete it, delete the app. Anonymous analytics and subscription records are held by PostHog and Adapty as described above. When we update this policy, we will note the effective date at the top and describe the change in the App Store release notes.
